Community Play Sessions and Family Fun Days

At Grow Learn Play Project CIC we are a big believer in nurturing not only the children in our care but also their families and the wider community.

We currently offer a range of sessions…

Baby Group: Mondays, 10.30am to 12pm, £1.50 per session

This is a group for parents and their babies and children under two years of age. The aim is to give families an opportunity to socialise and meet new people within the community. During the session a range of activities are provided such as soft play, sensory play, curiosity play, and messy play to help support babies and children’s development and experiences. No need to book this session just come along when you can.

Messy Play: Fridays, 10.30am to 12pm, £2 per session

This is a group for parents and their children 5 years of age and younger. The aim is to give families an opportunity to socialise with others from the community and the chance for children to really get stuck into their messy play. Come prepared in old clothes or puddle suits! We explore a wide range of activities such as sand, water, soil, jelly, baked beans, custard, cornflour and gellibaff and much more. No need to book this session just come along when you can.

Family Fun Sessions: During school holidays, small cost depending on activity

During school holidays we hold family fun sessions, designed for the whole family at an affordable cost. This summer we had great fun during our beach day and pirate day! When possible, we also make use of the Forest School area too. These sessions are booked and paid for in advance and will be advertised through our parent portal and on Facebook.

Parenting groups: Small cost depending on activity.

We are currently developing the support services to help support families locally. We offer short courses throughout the year on topics such as communication and language, parenting challenges and learning about the importance of play. These sessions are booked and paid for in advance and will be advertised through our parent portal and on Facebook.
